HENLEY, John Joseph -
1941-2007. John died peacefully at home in Toronto on April 27, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Murray Henley, and his sons, Zach
and fiancée Yuki, Jed and his wife Janaa, Tim and Liam. John was the
eldest son of the late E.P. and Margaret Henley (of St. John's N.L.).
He will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters, Mary (Ray)
Buncic, Cathie, Ed "E.P." (Trish), Elfie, Elizabeth (John Gregory),
Ann, David (Carolann), Chris (Donna), Michael (Dawn), and Charlie
(Lynne); many nieces and nephews and a multitude of loving Murray
relatives, extended family and friends. John, an engineering graduate
of St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia Tech, and University of
Toronto, had a long career with Imperial Oil in Toronto. A loving
courageous family man, favourite brother, uncle and storyteller has
passed on but he will live on in our loving memories. Visitation is in
Trull Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 2704 Yonge St. (five blocks
south of Lawrence), today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be
held in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (Yonge Street south of
Lawrence) at 11 a.m. Wednesday. No flowers by request. Donations can
be made to support the African Children's Education Project of a
